Sportsman of the Year

Pitching Perpetual Trophy
The local NHPA sanctioned
horseshoe club in Stuarts Draft, Virginia created their
own unique "Sportsman of the Year" horseshoe club perpetual
trophy from a recycled trophy. One of their club members
donated a bowling trophy he received in 1986, and with
a small amount of rework, it became a perpetual trophy
in honor of their Sportsman-of-the-Year. Each year,
an engraved name plate is added to the base, and presented,
along with an NHPA Sportsman patch, to the winner.
